Adhesive Primer

3M Primer 94 is an adhesive promoter which increases the strength to bond 3M Tapes to low surface energy surfaces such as polyethylene, ABS, PET, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces. The adhesion promoter ensures that 3M Tapes stick everywhere.

Application Tips

• 3M Primer is recommended to be used with a brush, swab, flow gun, roller or similar type of equipment and can be removed with isopropyl alcohol.
• Surface Preparation: The surface in which the primer is to be used must be clean and dry. Contaminated surfaces must be cleaned with a 50/50 Isopropyl Alcohol and water mixture. A clean lint-free cloth must be used.
• Allow Primer 94 to dry completely before using the tape. This should take about 5 minutes in normal room temperature conditions.  
• Must be applied with brush or swab for small areas and a pressurized flow gun for larger areas
